Last week I had the privilege to photograph James & Lauren’s newborn baby Amelia. She was just 6 days old! I spent the afternoon with them at their house while photographing beautiful little Amelia. The sun came out and helped with the natural lighting and the rest was left up to Amelia. She was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better newborn session. Enjoy these from that afternoon.
Warmer weather and sunshine make me smile. Yesterday I was smiling from ear to ear, and not only because of the weather. I was smiling because it was my first time shooting outdoors this year. The icing on the cake was that I was photographing my good friends Lauren & James who are expecting Amelia Blake pretty soon. The warmer weather was nice but the lighting yesterday was amazing! Lauren & James were so easy to photograph. They made my job simple. It was a great afternoon and I can’t wait to meet Amelia Blake.

Matt and Becca have been good friends of ours for some time now, and haven’t had a photo session with us….until now. It was a perfect afternoon for it too. The light was good, the leaves were all over the ground, and Becca looked like she was smuggling puppies. We had a good time just laughing at each other while I snapped away trying to capture how funny these two really are. I think it shows through pretty well. I know their little baby Eli is going to be precious and I can’t wait to meet him.
